24X processed more than $14.7 billion in foreign exchange non-deliverable forwards (NDFs) on 31 July, setting another daily record as the company’s US equities venue prepares to extend trading to 23 hours on weekdays.
The NDF milestone keeps the focus on the institutional FX operation that 24X launched in 2019, while its SEC-approved equities exchange gives the group a second market structure outside institutional FX.
24X has not claimed that the FX records are financially connected to the equities venue.
NDF Activity Reaches New Records
The latest daily figure surpassed the previous record of $12.2 billion, set less than three months earlier. July also produced a monthly average daily volume record of more than $9.4 billion. Within the total, 24X reported a separate daily record of $7.1 billion in Korean won NDF volume.
Dmitri Galinov, 24X National Exchange CEO and Founder
Chief Executive and founder Dmitri Galinov attributed the higher volumes to increasing order flow from global financial institutions. He also said deeper activity was making the platform’s FX market data more useful to clients, although 24X did not disclose client numbers or its share of the wider NDF market.
NDFs sit within a broader institutional product suite available through a single interface. The platform also supports deliverable and non-deliverable swaps, spot FX and metals.
In 2025, 24X introduced non-deliverable swaps with Standard Chartered as the sole counterparty, using the same interface and API as its existing FX products. Finance Magnates reported an NDF daily record of $8.2 billion around that launch, providing an earlier point in the volume progression.
Equities Venue Moves on a Separate Track
The equities business follows a separate regulatory and operational track. 24X National Exchange launched in October 2025 and currently trades US shares from 4 am to 8 pm Eastern Time on weekdays through participating broker-dealers.
The venue was the first national securities exchange to receive SEC approval for 23-hour weekday trading. It plans to introduce that schedule in the second half of 2026, operating from Sunday evening to Friday evening with a daily one-hour maintenance break. The company has not announced a date for the extended timetable.
The records extend a sequence of higher reported activity in 24X’s original institutional market. The equities venue adds strategic breadth, but the available evidence supports only a chronology: FX volumes are rising while the group prepares longer US stock-trading sessions.
