Dominic Poynter has
left his position as Chief Commercial Officer at retail FX and CFDs broker
OneRoyal.
Poynter confirmed his
departure in a LinkedIn post, saying: “After more than 15 years building and
growing FX/CFD businesses, I’m available for my next commercial challenge.”
Poynter Built Marketing Career Before
OneRoyal
Poynter joined
OneRoyal as Head of Marketing before moving
into the CCO role in 2025. He held the marketing position for more than a
year in Limassol, Cyprus.
Before joining
OneRoyal, Poynter spent about a year as Chief Marketing Officer at HYCM in
Limassol. His work there focused on go-to-market and digital strategies.
He previously worked
at Axiory for two years as Marketing Director in Cyprus. He was responsible for
marketing operations across international markets, including Africa, MENA/GCC
and Southeast Asia. His duties included budget planning, team building, Cyprus
operations and trading platform management.
Next Career Move Remains Undisclosed
Poynter also spent two
years as Head of Marketing at ATFX Global Markets, formerly Positiva Markets,
in Limassol. He worked on global marketing strategies and the launch of the
retail brand following its acquisition. He also helped build marketing infrastructure
covering websites, CRM systems and affiliate programmes.
Earlier in his career,
Poynter spent three years at easyMarkets as Director of Marketing Operations in
Limassol.
His departure from
OneRoyal marks the end of his latest role in the retail FX and CFDs sector.
Poynter has not publicly disclosed his next position.
OneRoyal’s
Expansion
Poynter’s departure
comes as OneRoyal continues to expand its presence across the MENA region. In
May 2025, the
broker opened a registered office in Muscat, Oman. Earlier that year, the
firm also appointed former Uruguay
international Diego Forlán as a brand ambassador, following a partnership
with Acuity
Trading for AI-powered analytics.
